Aaron Blackshaw- Elon University Presidential Scholarship totaling $18,000.
Hilary Sharp - selected for Rep. Sue Myrick’s Youth Advisory Council. This group presents 28 different schools.
Sarah Trautmann- has been chosen to represent Charlotte Catholic in the Carolinas’ Carrousel Festival and Parade on Thanksgiving Day.
Christina Strittmater- has been recognized by the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program as a Scholar Finalist.
Christian Culicerto and Meagan Metkowski- Charlotte Catholic’s 2007 / 2008 Wendy’s High School Heisman Award winners
Patrick Holder- chosen to compete for the Daughters of the American Revolution scholarship. He was chosen by his classmates to represent CCHS in this scholarship competition.

The Robertson Scholars program seeks academically talented students who will thrive in a rigorous academic program and who have demonstrated leadership ability, superior academic achievement, commitment to community service and a collaborative spirit. This four-year scholarship is valued up to $160,000. A separate, supplemental application is required by both schools with your regular application. Elon University Junior Scholars is looking for academically talented and exceptionally involved juniors. You must have an “A” average and a combined SAT critical reading, writing, and math score of 1870 or higher; or an ACT score of 29 with writing. PSAT- Underclassmen took the PSAT on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, the results will be returned to them in late December or early January. The score report will include their answers on the test and the correct answers. We also return the test booklets with the questions. We tell the students to review the score report, looking at the questions they got wrong. This is a great learning opportunity and chance to improve their test taking skills for future college entrance tests. An Interpretation meeting will take place on Thursday
January 24, 2008 in the Chapel at 7:00pm for all 9th, 10th and 11th grade parents.
