Music education
constitutes a significant place in a school's curriculum. In it a student
experiences a communicative art, which will enrich his/her education through
scientific, mathematics, historical, literary, and aesthetic means. He/she
participates aurally, vocally, and manipulatively. Through listening, singing,
rhythmic, creative and instrumental experiences, skills, attitudes and concept
begin to develop. A student's mental and spiritual growth is enhanced through a
greater understanding of music.
