2008 Volleyball Tryout Information

 

There will be a meeting to hand in Athletic History and Physical forms on Friday August 1st at 3pm in the CCHS gym.

 

Tryouts will be held the week of August 4th.  

The following is the schedule for the week:

 

Monday August 4th – 7am-8:15am @ Freedom Park &

                                       2:30pm-5pm @ CCHS gym      

 

Tuesday August 5th – 2:30pm-5pm @ CCHS gym

 

Wednesday August 6th - 7am-8:15am @ Freedom Park &

                                            2:30pm-5pm @ CCHS gym

 

Thursday August 7th – 2:30pm-5pm @ CCHS gym

 

Friday August 8th –    7am-8:15am @ Freedom Park &

   2:30pm-5pm @ CCHS gym

 

Directions to Freedom Park:  From CCHS take Johnston Road North, Johnston Road becomes Park Road continue north on Park Road, you will cross over Fairview and Woodlawn, after you cross over Woodlawn you will continue straight till you come to Princeton Avenue on you right (it is located directly in from of Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School), take a right on to Princeton Avenue and follow till you come to the baseball field on your left, this is where we will meet.

Recap 2006 Season: (Recap of 2007 season coming soon - we hope!)

The 2006 Girl’s Junior Varsity Volleyball Team, coached by Patti McClure and lead by Captains Lindsay Robinson and Lindsay Casper, finished the season with a record of 18-4 overall. Within conference play the Lady Cougars were undefeated at 13-0. While Freshman Samantha Fenyves lead the way with 82 Aces, Sophomore Lindsay Casper was quick to the spot with a team high 29 Digs. Freshmen Catherine Ellis and Carolyn Lee accounted for 44% of the teams Kills with 41 and 45 respectively. Other team members include Sophomores Hillary Demmitt and Madelyn Newman and Freshmen Cait Baker, Megan Carroll, Anna Farmer, Melissa McCarthy, and Katie Rango.

Congratulations for a great season. Looking forward to next year. GO COUGARS!
